Tarot Card of the Week   Leave a comment

This is a new thing I’m adding into the blog. It’s my tarot card of the week. I’m hoping that many of you will gain some kind of wisdom or guidance from the card I draw each week. Each week I will focus on what message I think my readers most need in their lives at this time. Without further ado, here is the tarot card of the week.

The Empress Reversed:

This card in its upright position means fruitfulness, wealth. Mother, sister, wife. Action, movement and progress. When she is reversed though, well, she gets a little out of hand so to speak. When the Empress is reversed she is overindulgence, vain, and infertile. She does not bring forth a bounty like she would in the upright position. In some cases she may be telling you that YOU are holding these qualities and that you need to temper your behavior. In other cases she may be telling you that your efforts will never bear fruit. If the question is about childbearing, it can also signify the inability to conceive children at this time.( always check with your doctor on this) In either case, she is a force that will have to be dealt with before your dreams can be achieved. This card can also signify that you are running from your motherly duties or that you wish NOT to be like your mother. The Empress is a symbol of action and things REALLY happening. If she is in the reversed position in your life, that issue may seem to be at a stand still.

Keep in mind that all reversed cards are is an energy in your life that is constrained or blocked. They DO NOT mean that bad things are going to happen. If reversed cards are wreaking havoc on your life, examine what energies they are telling you need freeing. “How do I go about doing that?” Well, that can be tricky or it can be really easy. If it’s something like a break-up or death, it can be a difficult road to “free” that binding energy. If it’s something like a job or a house, it may be as simple as moving or changing jobs. I know moving and changing jobs isn’t exactly simple but, they are a lot easier than convincing your heart not to hurt or long for someone.

I hope this little crash course was helpful to you. I enjoyed writing it and will be adding more information in the future about each card and their significance. Till the next time, I’m off on my broom!!
